RAce! : LOPEVI Won! INDIVIDUAL IMMUNITY CHALLENGEIt became a 2-horse race between John K. & Chad... Wow! Chad... I'm truly madly deeply inspired by u... But, unfortunately, John K. won the 'precious' immunity as Chad had trouble assembling the puzzle-like ladder... John K. visit to Yasur...ImmuNity here goes her "Bla! bla! bla! towards inffinity...yada-yada" "She seems really SWEET, I'm sure she's really NICE, but the bottom line is, 'OH MY GOD!, will u pls STOP talking?" If only John K.'s ears can speak at that time there will be only 2 words coming out from his ears....SHUT UPPPP!... Luckily, ears cannot speak... & I think they're fortunate enough for not having cotton buds over there... ;-) John K. gave the immunity to AMI... wonder what's his plan... The 2 TRIBAL COUNCIL. JOHN P. & MIA both been voted out by 5-3 vote respectively... QUOTE of the Day: "I'll never look at a coconut the same again" ...John P.

Episode 2: Bye Bye Farm Gal!
No Fire In The Island Of Fire?!?It's kinda funny watching all the guys trying to build a fire... they were that close to getting it than here comes the rain... Bye bye fire! Bye bye flame! hehehe... they looked so frustrated... Hmm... no Luck? what happen to the 'so-called' LUCKY stone they've received earlier? Hmmm... Bananas With Full Of 'PROTEINS'. "These young ones, I don't know what was they thinking. If it comes down to wating maggots, I'm gonna eat maggots. PROTEIN. EAt'em. SHUT UP!" Twila, Twila, Twila... I've had enough of u... I really don't like her... yada-yada... about the bananas with maggots, It's cooked - 'well-done' so no more germs etc.. It's should be steril... a Safe meal with high contain of PROTEINS... ;-) REWARD CHALLENGE: Balance beam + Teamwork8 castaway from each tribe would stand on a narrow beam over water, at 1 tie, the survivors would have to move down the beam, squeezing past their fellow tribe members... If they fall or touch more than 1 tribe member at 1 time... Start Over! YASUR won their reward which are pillows, blankets & a hammock. LOPEVI frustrated, RORY mad, he kinda felt insulted with the Yasur's winning dance... hahaha... RORY... that's what we called CELEBRATION... 'Immortal Chicken' "That chicken, I think, is IMMORTAL, b'cos I hit it with a rock, Twila stabbed it with the machete, & the thing still flew off" says Dolly at THE EARLY SHOW... ...LOL...here goes the legend of the Dinner that got away... Luckily the chicken laid some eggs...tak dapat ayam telur pun jadi lah yer... IMMUNITY CHALLENGE: Communication + teamwork + puzzleTribes required to assemble a series of platforms to an observation deck. Each platform would be made from puzzle pieces. Blinfolded, the castaways would need to retrieve these puzzle pieces from the land & sea with the aid of a fellow tribe member who is not blind-folded. Once all pieces are gathered, tribe would remove their blindfolds in order to complete their platform puzzle. Once completed, suvivors would then race to the top of the observation deck... It's kinda wierd for not watching Eliza talking Bla! bla! bla! ... maybe she does but not totally shown... "are they any more puzzles in the water... shall we go back to the water...SCoutttt?" "no, no more...we're GOOD!" LOPEVI won... Yasur lost due to Scout's mistakes... Tu la riak sangat... TRIBAL COUNCIL. Dolly during THE EARLY SHOW. Dolly's out in 5-4 decision...BYe! BYe! Farm Gal!! ... My sister's going to miss u... :-)

Here a review 4 the BAKISA Charity Dinner... The theme are Starry starry night... 3 AF2 stars performing are ADAM, MAS and LINDA... The Charity Dinner is a very Grand and formal event... Tables prices started off with RM1000 to RM 10 000 ( yg ni betul² kat dpn stage)... The Guest of Honour is Sabah CM, Datuk Musa Hj. Aman.
ADAM
1st performing among the AF2 stars... He started off with his official opening word “yeah yeah yeah whassup whassup Kota Kinabalu...bla bla bla trima kasih Datuk² Datin²... yada-yada"...tak ingat sangat b’cos masa tu perut tgh lapar giler... Malam tu Adam pakai t-shirt merah seluar putih dgn jaket putih... ala mcm yg dia slalu pakai tu... i’ve seen him wearing this outfit couple of times... & whats up with adam hair? Saya rasa mcm nak tolong klipkan rambut dia with my hair clip yg warna shining² Red tu... Tak pun pinjam crown Datin kat sebelah saya tu kasi ke dia.. Sesuai sangat... ADAM u gotta do somethin’ with ur hair, it’s blocking ur ‘so-called’ biggest assets ;-) ... By the way, Es’d’Co pun pakai baju color yg sama dgn Adam but both Boy & Ejam are wearing hats...
Bila Larut Malam (feat. Es ‘d’ Co & Datin² as dancers)
Performance ok... I’m not so good in criticising on their vocal... & in fact whether they sang well or not they’re already a star... Cuma saya rasa suara Adam & Es ‘d’ Co tak blend... Tarian Adam dgn salah sorg Datin tu plak sorg ke kiri sorg ke kanan... takde praktis kot... hehehe... Overall, it’s an enjoyable performance... I was watching this while eating the 1st dish 4 that nite...
Khayalan (feat. Es ‘d’ Co)
Hahaha yg ni best... Stage dgn tpt duduk saya pun takdelah jauh sangat... selang 2 meja dr meja VVIP ... View dr tpt saya ke stage mmg clear la...so saya nampak Adam semput nyanyi lagu ni... byk menari kot... Oh ya! Adam kata lagu ni b’makna for him sebab drpd lagu ni lah dia dpt masuk AF... yada-yada... Masa kat dpn tu hanya 30% perhatian saya ke Adam, yg selebihnya ke budak² & gadis² remaja fanatik... Siap ada bandangan lagi...
Babe
Yg ni rasanya lagu wajib Adam... So far mana² show dia mesti nyanyi lagu ni... Dia nyanyi solo, so, mmg ada masalah pada sukatan nada aka pitching... here and there... tp tak sampai m’beri kesan to my eardrums... :-)
While I was waiting for my fren outside the toilet, I saw Adam & Es ‘d’ Co ... then I heard ‘Oh My ... ! I felt like I want to KISS him’... One girl with a blue shirt saying that... I just can’t stand so I turn 180º & LOL... Lihatlah Dunia! Hahaha... Addition Adam’s performances manage to collect RM50,000 (if i’m not mistaken).
MAS
When she was introduced, gamat dewan dgn sorakan... so happen during the KDCA concert... Blm nyanyi lagi dah kena sorak...So, I jump to a conclusion that she got an outstanding AURA that cannot be explained by words... That night she’s wearing Brown blouse & skirt... black necklace...Hair tied up with additional wigs... & not forgetting lot & lot & lots of make-up... heeeehheeehehee!
Malam Bulan Dipagar Bintang (duet with CM)
This is a request song... she sang it well... takde lupa lirik... nak tau kenapa...sbab yg ni karaoke... hahaha...Kalau yg ni pun salah lirik tak tau la apa nak kata... lirik dah ada kat dpn mata... cuma suara dia tak serasi dgn CM... Pitching mcm biasa ckit²... 1 thing, dia nyanyi tak off-key... mcm slalu tu ;-) ... This song manage to collect RM160,000...
Tenda Biru
Kalau sesapa yg tak tau lagu ni... Farah pernah nyanyi... so, when Mas told that she was going to sing this song... hmmm... her performance 4 this is just average.. maybe it’s b’cause i’m comparing it with Farah’s performance... & b4 she started singing this song she come up to the stage & say “slamat malam kpd anda semua yg ada di majlis makan malam ...erm erm erm.. apa suda tu?” she doesn’t know it...padahal kat backdrop tu ada t’tulis... DuHHH!
Ok back to her p’formance... masa dia nyanyi part tinggi lagu ni... OuccHHH! Hehehe dia nyaris² tak sampai key tu...certain part dia nyanyi off-key..Tak taula kalau masa nyanyi lagu ni dia ada lupa lirik ke tak... there are certain parts yg dia perlahankan suara dia tak dgr... Cover² kottt!
Kaulah Segalanya
Lagu wajib dia ni... actually, her fans yg kat dpn² stage tu suruh dia nyanyi lagu Seksis but she replied “kalau sia nyanyi lagu Seksis, roboh pentas ni” ... hahahaha... Boleh roboh ker stage tu kalau tinggi dia tak sampai pun 50 meter tinggi... Stage dia hanya setinggi 2 anak tangga... Yg ni dia ada ubah lirik hanya kau seorg ditukar kpd hanya kau berdua... maybe she dedicated this song to her daughter & son... Just average...
Masa ni CheeKa plak nak ke tandas on the way balik ke meja... nampak En. Baha b’baju hijau pucuk pisang... ada beberapa org tgh b’gambar dgn dia... popular jugak En. Baha ni yer... Then he went inside the Hall... tempat sound syst...
LINDA
She’s really pretty in this sexy RED evening gown with ‘spaggetty strap’ both side... kat blakang strap ni m’btk huruf ‘Y’ ... bare back... tp takdela bwh sangat... Bhgn bahu dia cover dgn sort-off like selendang yg transparent...hair disanggul...Crowd jgn ckplah, sorakan melimpah ruah... masa kat luar tu t’dgr our CM saying “lambat juga ni tia sabar suda sia mau nyanyi sama si Linda”...hehehe
Madah Berhelah
Best giler... Cuma dia ada masalah di bhgn sustained note... Tahan Perutt! ... Masa part yg tinggi tu... wah mcm nak roboh dewan tu dgn sorakan & tepukan...yg m’cangkung kat dpn stage tu tak taulah... sampai tak sedar diri dah menghalang pandangan meja VVIP...hahaha... tp crowd terkawal... since it’s a formal event... Actually saya suka cara dia bw lagu ni mlm tu... Saya dah beberapa kali dgr dia nyanyi lagu ni...since this was her lagu wajib... penghayatan dia kurang...she’s busy entertaining her fans yg kat dpn stage tu... tp dia bawa lagu ni bersahaja...I like it... her adlib also okke...
Syurga Idaman
B4 she started singing sempat lagi dia buat lawak... “trima kasi sebab masi sudi lagi mau dgr p’sembahan sia, walaupun sia tau makanan pun habis suda di meja...jgn malu² order lagi bah” hahaha...masa tu last dish mmg dah lama kena angkat dr meja... tinggal drinks lagi... then she sang...dia ada masalah tempo 4 this song... an average performance... dia mcm terkejar² music... Tp dia ada m’nari ala² Zahid sekejap atas p’mintaan org² dpn stage rasanya...
Panti Asuhan
“minta maaf sia mau minta request dulu... buli kasi kuat sikit ka tu music... Sia tidak brapa dgr...minta maaf ah atas gangguan” she said b4 she sang this song...She started off well... & complete it well... a thumb up performance... Mlm tu dia nyanyi bagus b’banding kat KDCA... nyanyian bersahaja dia ni really gave an impact to me... hehehe
Addition, masa dia nyanyi tu a few org² kat dpn tu bg dia bunga ros... nak tau bunga ros ni diorg ambik dr meja... Actually it’s 4 hiasan..Linda sempat ckp “aik semua pun mau kasi bunga, mana kamu cabut ni?” she said...hahaha.. dia perasan kot yg bunga² tu dr meja..
Jikalau Ku Tahu (duet with CM)
Datuk Musa sempat pesan kat Linda sblm nyanyi lagu ni “suara Linda tinggi, suara sia rendah jadi Linda pandai²lah ko adjust ah”... this is also karaoke singing... but both of them sang well... cuma ada 1 part, lenggok diorang tak serasi...sorg turn sorg tak turn... just a minor mistake... this is also a requested song & manage to collect RM220,000...
Overall, BAKISA manage to collect more than half a million from p’jualan meja & AF2 Stars performance... The highest collection comes from the CM & Linda Duet... What an enjoyable day ;-)

SURVIVOR VANUATU from Izad's Point of View
Note : I'm not very good at recaps, so if you're looking for a good one, you should read Y's Survivor recap or the offical Survivor Vanuatu website from CBS.
Episode 1 : They Came At Us With Spears
CBS originally promoted this as a two-hour episode but surprisingly it only came down to one hour. (We've had 1.5 hour episodes for the premieres of Pearl Islands and All Stars). What a bummer. I would think they would've allocated more screen time since we have 18 contestants this time around. As a result, we didn't get to know the contestants as much from the first episode. And I know that Survivor is all about learning different cultures and locations, but for the first 20 minutes, I thought I was watching the National Geographic instead. Hehe.. it's good though, I think it sets the tone of where the season is going, and it looks like it's going to be an interesting one. So far, I get a very strong Amazon-ish deja-vu.. men vs women... older vs younger. Hmmm...
Castaways Impressions (Episode 1)
Ami - There weren't much of Ami to see, although she did have a few confessionals. she is seen working with both the older group and relaxing with the bow heads. She may be in this for the long haul.
Brady - Token eye candy and alpha male as we've all suspected. His performance of getting the rock off the pole surely scored him some points with his tribe. Looks as if he's in his FBI mode during his confessionals (though not a really good one). As much as I'd like to see him last long in the game, my gut tells me he's on the outside looking in.
Brook - I don't really get why Brook was voted out. Because he's cocky? Huh. I'm stumped. He's not even that athletic. Seemed like a Cesternino wannabe with his 'checking out the tails' comments during Tribal Council. But, yeah, he seemed like a good first boot.
Chad - Seems like a quiet nice guy. No conflicts whatsoever. I find it very interesting that Jeff did not brought up the issue about his prosthetic leg during the immunity challenge AND at tribal council. VERY surprised. My favourite among the guys right now (and not just because of sympathy).
Chris - This guy really screwed up BIG TIME at the challenge, causing his team to lose. HOWEVER, I really MUST give props to him. Why? Well, he clearly messed things up for his tribe, and yet, he managed to steer the focus away from himself to someone else. Simply amazing. And from his confessionals, he really does know what he's doing. In terms of gameplay and strategy, I think he's one of the better players out there. (but I hope he'll go on Queer Eye after this. Long hair on men are as hideous as mullets)
Dolly - I thought Dolly would be the most annoying sorority chick out there. I was wrong. I kinda liked the fact that Dolly was not bothered watching the pig get slaughtered. After all, she IS a shepherdess. (Okay, I just sprayed some Coke on my keyboard)
Eliza - Do you know Eliza Dolittle? Doesn't matter. Now, you know Eliza Do Little. In fact, it's Eliza Do Very Little except yakkity yakitty yak. This little cheer leading chihuahua needs to go soon. There were too many confessionals of her going like bla bla like forever on and on and like there's no like tomorrow. Urghh I am so going to OD on this whole high school girl talk.
John K - Hmm.. here's a surprise. Our model boy was actually quite tolerable this episode. I was so hoping we won't get a Ryan redux and thankfully we didn't. Maybe that's because we've only heard one sentence out of him.
John P - BLa bla bla. Eliza.. meet your match. I didn't like him from his pre show interview ("Some people call me Superman".. mmmmm... oookaaaayyy) and I don't like him now. That's okay. His days are numbered.
Julie - *sigh* I was hoping we'd get to see more of Julie, but I think she only had one (unmemorable) confessional. I hope Mark Burnett has a big story in stored for her down the line. (Please please please don't be another Darrah)
Lea - Wow! I thought I was going to dislike him after his drill sergeant routine in the pre show interviews. He actually seemed likeable in the show. He's playing the game carefully and will easily make it past the merge
Leann - I like Leann. She's working hard with the older ladies and doesn't even seem to whine or complain much about the younger girls. She's quickly becoming a favourite.
Lisa - Chad's legs, Scout's knee.. and guess what else is artifical? Hehe.. I'll let you guys figure this one out yourself. It was quite amusing to see her blend in with the bow heads rather than the older ladies (cause she's not really that young). Other than her association with the LAMIHAPs (Look-At-Me-I'm-Hot-And-Pretty), I can't really tell much about her from the episode (but I sure do love the Southern accent, yassuh)
Mia - Mia was JUST like what I thought she would be. She has a lot of meaningful confessionals (compared to Eliza's yapping), but will she make it far? I don't know. I see similarities between her and Shii Ann. They both make good narrators and storytellers, but that might not reflect how far they will go into the game.
Rory - Brutha just cant shut it. Not even for the first few hours. *sigh* I am hoping the little power trip was a separate incident, but previews from next week (WHICH ntv7 BRUTALLY LEFT OUT, BY THE WAY) shows him in yet another spat with a tribesmate. I hope that's a misdirection, cause I want to like him.
Scout - Thank God she's not another Jan. Scout seems like a nice lady. Hardworking, pleasant, humble. I like her. Maybe because she has Eliza on top of her list too. Ha!
Travis - Didn't get much out of Travis from this episode. Seems like Tom's distant cousin, with slightly better enunciation (just slightly, mind you), but if he breaks out into a chicken dance, I'll quit. <--- don't you just love this chickadee?
Twila - Nope. There's just something about her that I don't quite like. Before even reaching the Vanuatu shores, she's already sporting the Lil-like scowl. And she has the right to be upset and angry about the work situations in camp, but this is where I disagree. BIG TIME. Survivor is NOT about just surviving nature. It's also about surviving each other. It's about ADAPTING to both the surroundings AND your tribesmate. This was one of the reasons why I was not at all surprised when Hunter got the boot in Marquesas. If you disagree with your tribesmates, even if they're in the wrong, do so in the right way. Be more political. Not openly whine and complain about it. Especially not when you're in the minority. (Stupid Hunter. Who's the knucklehead now?). But is Twila in the minority or majority? Maybe we'll know more next week. That said, I don't like her approach in the game. You may survive the wilderness, but don't forget you have to survive your tribesmates too.
Predictions : Brain/Heart/Gut
This is how it works. Brain indicates who I THINK will go based on assumptions and analysis of the previous episode. Heart indicates who I WANT to go. Gut indicates, despite the logical reasonings and personal impressions, this is who my INSTINCTS tell me will leave.
Brain : If the guys go to Tribal Council, John Paylock might leave (if the others have learned how to make fire by then). If it's the girls, Twila.
Heart : John Paylock/Eliza (it's a tie)
Gut : The Shepherdess (there goes the Coke again, dammit)
I have written a slighty longer and more elaborate explanation on why I enjoy watching Survivor and how I enhance my Survivor viewing pleasure ( Survivor 101: Enjoying and 'Spoiling' The Show) at my blog. I seriously wouldn't advise you to go there unless you're a Survivor nut.. otherwise, my lengthy fanatical explanation might just give you an overdose. You have been warned. LOL.

SURVIVOR VANUATU from 'My_CheeKa™' Point of View
The Island of Fire.
A very very interesting island... with very very interesting culture... with the volcano, the ritual, the black magic, sorcery, and not forgetting the scenery of the island... I think i'm going to like it ... I like things that are mystery, spiritual, Evil & yg sewaktu dgnnya... so, i think besides of this Reality TV programme itself, this island will gives me desire to explore more about Vanuatu... Survivor Vanuatu unveils!
The Castaways.
This is based on my 1st impressions towards the castaways... (after 1 episode)
THE MEN of LOPEVI
Strong physically but not mentally compared to the women's tribe :-p ... Men's ego... what can i say... mesti ada gaduh² nanti... That's the BEAUTY of survivor ;-) ahaks!
A little something about the mens that manage to grab my attention;
Brady - He's strong... credits given as he manage to get the SPIRITUAL stone...which the local believe that it could bring good luck
Chad - Chad kinda inspire me ;-) ... yada-yada... is he strong enough to survive in survivor? we'll see
Chris - Good try, but not good enough... this tribe lost their challenge b'cos of HIM...penalty given :-p
Lea - He wanted to vote the young ones out 1st... b'kesan ke strategi dia ni?
Rory - Looks bossy to me... Bossy people doesn't stay long in Survivor so... hmmmm...but it's still to early to tell...
THE WOMAN of YASUR
The old folks vs the young folks...not that bad...they still got the 2 Words 'TEAM SPIRIT'...they won the challenge, not bad for a start :-)
A little something about the womens that manage to grab my attention;
Ami - Looks hardworking...the lesbian part... camana yer nak tgk whether she is or not? Any idea??? ;-p
Dolly - The shepherdess... she's cute...Mcm Britney ckit (maybe it's her blonde hair)...A little fact here 'Dolly is also the 1st Cloned sheep'... hehehe
Eliza - Shut up! Just Shut up! Shut up! (From the Black eye Peas)... she talk non stop...mcm mulut murai... Bla! Bla! Bla!...setanding dgn bunyi² unggas buzzing around... HUH!
Mia - I just like to see her around
Scout - she looks like a leader... maybe it's b'cos of her name...but hey it's still too early
Da' Rituals of the Tribal Council
Brook Out - no comments... tak sempat nak perasan ttg kewujudannya... Ahaks :-)
P/S: The woman of Yasur, they should be glad to be born as a woman...tak payah nak minum 'kava' (a mud-like drink)... wonder how it taste...ada rasa mcm 'Margarita' ke?
I also pity the God's creature that is murdered 4 the 'welcoming ritual'... ;-)

THE AMAZING RACE 5: Roarrr In Manila!
4 REMAINING TEAMS;
Colin/Christie
Karen/Linda
Brandon/Nicole
Chip/Kim
1st CLUE: Drive to WESTHAVEN MARINA, Auckland. Find a yacht marked “Hydroflow”.
“Christie & I feel confident there’s no other team that’s stronger than us.
Some of these other teams make a lot of stupid mistakes”… Colin
That’s what Colin says about the other teams… kinda ARROGANT huh!…Angkuh sekali budak Colin ni yer…
A little fight between the Bowling Mums... between navigating & driving... Linda look tensed...I think this is the 1st time they had a fight...If i'm not mistaken... dorg tak pernah gaduh..so it looks weird 4 me to watch them fight...minor fight actually..
ROADBLOCK: 1 Team member had to travel by boat to the Auckland Harbor Bridge & climb a 75-foot ladder to the girders beneath the roadway. They must walk the narrow metal planks to the clue on the other side b4 they were lowered down to their partner.
Colin – Done this task without any problem… 1st team to complete this roadblock.
Brandon – Nicole select Brandon to do this task… So, he has to do this, he completed this task pretty well even though he has fear of heights…no problemo ya’l! … By the way, I don’t think Nicole is capable of climbing the ladder, she got weak knees…ahaks ;-)
Chip – Chip is praying every step of the way n completing this task… I pity him, but I just can’t help myself for Laughing Out Loud… this is just out of Chip cup of tea..
Linda – “I’m spaghetti” says Linda… she manage to complete this task… even faster than Chip who underestimate them…
2nd CLUE: Fly to MANILA, Philippines & travel to MALAGUENA MOTORS, in the Province of Cavite.
Colin/Christie manage to get the earliest flight to manila using the Singapore airlines but unfortunately, the missed the connecting flight from Singapore to Manila… so, they fly to Hong Kong & take a connecting flight from Hong Kong to Manila… All of the teams are together again as they boarded in the same flight to Manila.
3rd CLUE: Teams must decorate jeepneys.
Here Chip/Kim manage to take the lead & yield Colin/Christie… learning from mistakes huh…while the 3 teams decorate their respected jeepneys, Colin/Christie were stunned looking at their pictures on the yield board, courtesy of Chip/Kim…Colin looks fierce! I’m scared! I’m scared! … muka dia mcm nak makan org pun ada… Garang gilerrr… He keeps looking at Chip dgn matanya yg mcm nak tersembul keluar… I can’t imagine how mad he is with Chip… But, Chip gotta do what he gotta do… It’s a race…
4th CLUE: Take the driver of respected jeepneys to the Town of Victoria & find their next clue behind a giant duck, which is a local icon.
The Bowling Mums was the 1st team to complete & arrive at the Town of Victoria, followed by The Models & The Married Parents.
After completing the task, Colin & Christie urges their jeepneys driver to go fast… Christie mcm nak ganti jer that driver… She keeps on urging the driver to drive fast… I think she urges the driver all the way to the Town of Victoria… kalau accident padan muka…
DETOUR: Choose between ‘PLOW’- choose a marked farm field & use an ox-drawn plow to the soil and unearth a buried clue; or ‘FOWL’- work together to herd 1,000 ducks from 1 pen to another, which is 50 yards away.
All of the teams choose to PLOW... Sesi membajak tanah dgn kerbau... Brandon/Nicole & the bowling mums are the 1st two teams that found their clue. They went back to Manila by bus, as there is no taxi there. Followed by Chip/Kim in another bus.
With the pressure on, Colin gone madddd… shout! Shout! Yell! Yell!… RoARRRR!… I think both of them should take ‘ANGER MANAGEMENT’ course… hehehe… tarik nafas! Hembus!… Sekali lagi… tarik nafas dan hembus… ulang sehingga kemarahan reda…LOL :-p
B4 arriving to Manila, all of the teams get down from the bus & find taxi. The gab between each teams are so close that makes this leg of race exciting… It’s a cab race!
PIT STOP: COCONUT PALACE, Manila. (non-elimination leg)
Chip/Kim – won a vacation to HAWAII
Linda/Karen
Brandon/Nicole – “it’s in the Lord’s hand” :-)
Colin/Christie – stripped of all their money
“All I’ve wanted to do really is just run the race until the very end” … tearful CHRISTIE
“Having Chip & Kim YIELD us was definitely an eye-opener. We trusted them, & they burned us. It’s ON!”… COLIN
P/S: Don't forget to watch the 2 hour FINALE of The AMAZING RACE 5 next week...almost to the end :-)

1st CLUE: Fly to AUCKLAND, New Zealand and search for ROTORUA MUSEUM.
All teams manage to get the same flight to Bangkok. And from Bangkok Colin/Christie got the earliest flight to Auckland, Chip/Kim & Brandon/Nicole 2nd flight, which will be arriving 20 minutes later, followed by the twins and last the Bowling Mums that will be using the Malaysia Airlines.
I always taught that the twins couldn’t do anything on their own… Which is like to WOW me with their plans…this time they conformed it, they come up with the idea making reservations for any earlier connecting flights to Auckland through the phone… What were they thinking? Isn’t it easier for them to make reservation by going directly to the Ticket Agent?…Hmmm…At last what did they get? They went off to Bangkok empty-handed b’cos the agent put them on HOLDDD…padan muka!… HAHAHA! « ketawa p'jahat
In Bangkok, once again the twins with their plan… they went to the Singapore Airlines (Flight taken by Colin/Christie) claiming that they have made reservations, which they DID NOT… Their plan, of course, did not work, as the ticket agent couldn’t find the booking made by the twins… At last, they got their tickets on Qantas flight, that will be arriving 5 min before the bowling mums.
ROTORUA MUSEUM
In searching for this Museum, Chip/Kim & The Twins lost their way…So, the bowling mums manage to passed them.
DETOUR: Choose between “Clean” – Drive to OKERE FALLS and perform an adventure sport called sledging; or “Dirty” – Drive to HELL’S GATE & search for clues buried in a large mud pool.
A minor argument between Colin & Christie…
A stupid joke made by Chip… to yield or not to yield?… yield ajela tak payah tunggu lagi… Chip looks frustrated after realizing that there were only 2 clue left in the clue box… which means that they were in bottom 2…hah tulah! No more MR NICE GUY!
-
Colin/Christie, The Bowling Mums and The Married Couples choose to go for “Clean”…
-
Brandon/Nicole and The Twins choose to go for “Dirty”…
While Brandon & Nicole busy searching for their clue, Nicole got frustrated, macam biasa Brandon calmed her as well as himself with prayer…
QUOTE OF THE DAY: “ U wanna stop for a while and pray?” Brandon… The HOLY Guy ;-)
Dlm sibuk² cari clue pun sempat jugak… imagining if I am in his place… rasanya saya tak akan t’fikir pun akan stop & pray for a while… ntah² saya dah baring² atas lumpur tu, tunjuk perasaan …tension giler! ;-)
ROAD BLOCK: one team member had to inflate a ZORB, which is a giant plastic ball, get in it, & roll down the hill, bouncing around inside…across the finish line… & join their partner to the Pit Stop.
Colin, Karen, Brandon & Chip does the Road Block… for the twins I’m not sure who did…
PIT STOP: MATAPARA FARMS.
“Kami & my relationship could be better. We’re so much alike that it’s hard to deal with ourselves times two. But b’cos of this race, I think that we’ve come a long way” …KARLI
“It only makes sense that Karli & I are doing something like this together. We’re going to continue being together in different races of our life. We’re sisters. We LOVE each other”…KAMI
P/S: Been busy lately, sorry for inconveniences…by the way, I’m eyeing on The Models to make a comeback… hoping that Colin/Christie doesn’t win this race… and wishing that Chip/Kim to be in the TOP 3...

Brandon/Nicole
Chip/Kim
Linda/Karen
Kami/Karli
"B'cos we have no money, we're so going to manipulate people. We are going to use whatever sexual gifts GOD gave us. That's the way we're going to survive"...KAMI/KARLI
1st CLUE: Go to WILD WADI
All of the teams drive themselves to WILD WADI... but it will only be opened on 8.00 AM the following morning..so all of the team manage to get even...they got their ZZZZZzzzzz!
ON UR MARK, GET SET, GOOOO! when the gate of the WILD WADI is open, they run to the clue box... CHIP were the 1st to enter but he didn't take the no at the entrance... so Brandon/Nicole was the 1st team to do the Slide at JS..
2nd CLUE: Climb to the top of JUMEIRAH SCEIRAH, a water-slide, take the plunge... off u slide....
Tinggi giler water-slide ni... a very interesting activity to do ;) ... down the slide is the next box for their route marker.
3rd CLUE: Fly to KOLKATA, India. Find the SAHID MINAR (a monument)...(*They must drive themselves to the a'port).
2 careless mistakes was made here...
1st - CHIP/KIM : they took a cab to go to the airport..tu lah lain kali baca clue Betul²...APa guna mata kalau bukan utk melihat... So, they have to go back to WWadi n drive themselves to the airport...SCREW!
2nd - LINDA/KAREN : they forgot to take their bag (with their money & passport inside) at the Jumeirah Sceirah...HUH! padan muka... i actually don't like what they did to the father & daughter team (JIM/MARSHA), previously...BAD ATTITUDE!... addition! they also face with another prob. with a taxi driver...LINDA refuse to pay to the taxi driver (a bit similar to Colin, but COLIN is way too RUDE), yada-yada, but they manage to clear the situation...PEACE!
All 5 teams booked ticket on EMIRATES flight from DUBAI to MUMBAI. For the connecting flights from MUMBAI to KOLKOTA, CHIP/KIM didn't manage to get the JETAIRWAYS flight, which will be arriving 10 minutes earlier than the SAHARA FLIGHT.
"THIS IS A CHANCE FOR A MIRACLE TO HAPPEN"...Chip... I do believe though that miracle does happen... 'there can be miracle when u believe, the hope is waiting, lalalalalala <-lupa lirik la...tambah ckit teknologi lalala si FARAH (breeP! breeP!) ;) ... lagu dipetik dari Mariah Carey.
The married parents got their miracle though...GO CHIP! GO KIM! ... they were the 2nd team to arrive at SAHID MINAR...
4th CLUE: Travel by taxi to the town of GARIA, find the GLOBE BRICK FACTORY.
COLIN...huh! i don't know what to say...no matter how poor, bad etc... a country is, i don't think that he should make such comments to the Indian culture... every places in this world have their own culture, So do u!
ROAD BLOCK (at GBF): 1 must enter the brick factory & use a traditional Indian mold to make 20 PERFECT mud bricks...
Everybody look tensed...so much yelling, so much shouting...looks easy to bo done but under that pressure (where all teams are competing to complete this task... i'm sure it's not that easy)...
FAST FORWARD: Teams had to travel to a temple & perform a TRADITIONAL HINDU RITUAL (required them to shave their head)...
Brandon/Nicole went for the FAST FORWARD...but unfortunately they do not have the guts to shave their hair. Here's what Nicole say "Brandon & I are both in the modelling industry, & hair is what sells for him"...hmmm...no comment...but i like the way Brandon comforted his g'fren though...they went back to do the 'BRICK by BRICK' thing. But this time Brandon made the brick as if he's a professional...hehehehe...See how pressure can take over ur mind...
5th CLUE: Travel by train to SEALDAH STATION.
So many people at the train station... LINDA/KAREN faced another problem, where they don't have enough rupees for their train tickets...they overcome this prob and back to the train station again...
DETOUR: Choose between 'HEAVY BUT SHORT'-travel to LANSDOWNE, choose a taxi with no engine to transport half a mile to a garage; or 'LIGHT BUT LONG'- travel to the largest flower market & find a specific stall...bla!-bla! (don't bother, none of the teams choose to do this)
All of the teams manage to complete this task with the help of the Indians... I think COLIN should be sooooo thankful... (only if the indians heard his sarcastic statement... uwekkk)... Brandon/nicole were the last team to complete this task...they are very calm & relaxed completing every task, as they knew that they were the last team at that time... accepting the fact that they will be eliminated.
PIT STOP: VICTORIA MEMORIAL (non-elimination race)
TEAM ARRIVALS
Colin/Christie
Chip/Kim
Linda/Karen
Kami/Karli
Bradon/Nicole
"I feel so relieved, I don't even care that I don't have any money. That's the least of my concerns right now. What a blessing"...BRANDON
"I see that the Lord really want us in the game, & we've had this 2nd chance. I'm really excited about it"...NICOLE
Brandon/Nicole are very lucky for not being eliminated... but, they got their penalty and will not be receiving any money for the next leg...facing the fact that India is a poor country...one of my friend ask me "what do u think about the Dating Models, can they survive?... I'm not sure, but i hope that they will survive in this race... India is a poor country, but not all the people are that poor... there are tourist too... once again 'there can be miracle when u believe' ;-)
P/S: The Amazing Race 6 will be aired in AXN after the Amazing Race 5 is completed...

Survivor Vanuatu : Pre-Show Interviews
To get warmed up for the show, CBS has provided fans with several pre-show interviews of the 18 new castaways. (You can view the video from the CBS website, and transcript is courtesy of SurvivorFever.net). This is what they've got to say about themselves and how they will approach the game. The Survivors - in their own words.
Ami: Hi, my name is Ami Cusack and I'm from Golden, Colorado. I'm 31 and I'm a barista in downtown Denver, which means I wake Denver, Colorado up every morning. I'm not worried about the physical part of it, I think the part I'm most worried about is the bugs. *laughs* Bugs love me, I taste good. I really do have survival skills... can you build a fire...can you catch fish, it's playing the game. Just finding your path through the game. I think I've got what it takes to make it down that path. I want somebody to know that they can count on me. Everyone's saying "don't trust anyone". I can't not trust people. I'm here definitely for the challenge. I'm up for the challenge
Brady: Hi, my name is Brady, I'm 33 years old. I'm an FBI agent from Huntington Beach, California. I'm here because I love adventure and lying cheating and stealing. I think a certain amount of deception, like we use on the job, is perfectly fine. But I do have a problem with being conceived as a lying, backstabbing type of person. So I'm not going to do that in the game, I'm going to figure out another way. Odds are, I mean, females will win the show, more times than not. I think there are alot of reasons for that. One of them is...guys have an alpha male thing going on. It's like my dog when I take him walking, he's fine with all the other dogs that are smaller than him, but he wants to pick a fight with the dogs that are bigger than him. I'd like to see two guys as the last two people on the show this time.
Brook: How's it going. My name is Brook Geraghty. I'm 27 years old, from a small bad ass town named Winthrop, Mass. I was a customer service rep but hopefully after this I can travel the world. You have to have a will to withstand the environment. I have so much passion about this game that I'm going to be able to reach down deep every time this game gets going tough, every time I'm hungry, every time I'm cold. If there was no million bucks I'd bring the same amount of passion to play just to be the sole Survivor. My strategy doesn't involve lying to every single person. Maybe silent lies type of thing. I'm going to do whatever it takes. I'm going to be as honest as I can as long as I can
Chad: My name is Chad I'm from Oakland, Calif. I have a wife, Dyann and two beautiful children. I have a prosthetic foot. I had an amputation 20 months ago. It's a secret from the other contestants as of now. Cause I've just been wearing pants without showing anybody. If somebody's noticed, I don't know. I trained a lot in a sandy lake. Did lots of exits and entries into water, like triathlon training, swimming, staying in shape, hiking, hitting the gym. I did a lot of research. A lot of reading about Vanuatu... survival skills. Just a ton of reading.
Chris: I'm Chris from South Vienna, Ohio, I work in transportation. I'm here for the money. I'm here to win a million dollars. If the adventure comes along with that, great, I'll take the adventure too. Bottom line: it's all about the million bucks. If somebody approaches me and wants to have a confrontation, fine. I'm not somebody that's gonna back down. I'm somebody that's gonna stand up. My overall strategy in the game is basically going to be determined the day I step on the beach and talk to the 7 people in my tribe. I'm gonna play the game, so I'm gonna adapt to the people around me. I may have to change I might not be able to be as blunt or as straight forward as I normally am. For the people that take it too seriously about lying in this game, they need to go to church camp, or maybe they need to go to a church league and hang out there for the summer. The game is probably 80% mental 20% physical. Yeah, I'm mentally prepared. I've watched them all so watching just mentally prepared.
Dolly: Hi, my name is Dolly from Mercer, PA, and I'm better known as the shepherdess. People like me. I'm good enough, I'm smart enough. Dog gone-it, people like me. Well, I think I will make it to the finals because I know when to talk and I know when to shut up and I think in this game, he who speaks the least, goes the furtherest. I don't plan on lying and cheating but if the occasion arises to have to lie and cheat then yeah I could lie and cheat because after all, it's just a game. Survivor is not a pretty show. I am not going to have a mirror to check my hair or primp and puff.
Eliza: Hi, my name is Eliza and I'm 21 years old. I'm a student at Syracuse University. I'm from Washington, DC. At Syracuse I'm dual majoring in International Relations and Political Science and I'm pre-law. I have wanted to be on Survivor since I saw the first episode of the first season. I fell in love with the show, fell in love with the adventure. I'm hoping that they will think that my age is a detriment and that "oh we can just tell her whatever we want, she's only 21, she doesn't know any better, she doesn't have the life experience". I want them to underestimate me because then I'll be able to turn around and bite them in the ass. I will be fighting until the very last second. I won't be like "oh well I guess it's just my time to be voted off". No that won't happen with me.
John K: My name is John Kenney, I'm 22 years old. I'm a mechanical bull operator at Saddle Ranch up in Hollywood. I think I'll win because I want it more than anyone else. This is not even close to a dating game, this is a game for a million dollars. It's a flirting game because I can get a million dollars out of it but other than that, that's about it. I'm not above lying and cheating and stealing. I'll do all of that stuff. I won't do anything to break the rules but there aren't too many rules in this game.
John P: My name is John, I'm 31 years old. I work as a sales manager at Home Depot. I live in Los Angeles, California. My strategy is called The 3 M Strategy. The first M is manipulation. I'm very good at massaging people, making them feel good about themselves and I'm going to use them and abuse them. Number two is misdirection. I'm going to come at you in different ways, I'm going to turn you, twist you, spin you. You're never going to know where John is coming from. The third is misconception. I'm going to lie, I'm going to cheat, I'm going to steal. I am who I am whether you like me or not I'm coming after ya. I'm a master at flirting and sex appeal. A lot of people call me Superman. Smiling plays an important role, flirtatious plays a huge role in this game.
Julie: Hi my name is Julie Berry, I'm 23 years old and I am a recent college graduate, woohoo! I am living in Gorham Maine. This is your one chance to be selfish and you know kinda be any character you want to be. You aren't going to be able to do this in your normal life you know. You get an excuse to lie, cheat, and steal which...why not, we all kinda of want to do it every now and then. I'm down to get dirty, rough, and do any physical challenge that is out there. I'm really aggressive, a tom boy growing up. Umm strategy, is gonna be umm anything, anything that goes, I'm going to do it, whatever I got to do of my capabilities, befriend people, I'm gonna turn on people, I'm going to do whatever it takes. I'm going to win, yes. So clear it right now. I am going to try my damndest to do whatever I have to do so. And I hope that is good enough, so we'll see.
Lea: Hi, my name is Lea, I'm 40 years old. I'm a drill sergeant from Columbia, South Carolina, been in the army for 18 years. Being in the military and being able to violate my morals and values as far as lying and cheating, we live by Southern army values and so I am going to have to try to persuade people instead of lying to them. If I give someone my word, and I say I won't not do something, I won't do it. I will say, if at all possible, if I put that if at all possible, I still have a backdoor for my answer and or for my actions. Me being in charge as a drill sergeant is my biggest fear because I have to know how to stop and not say anything. I am so used to jumping when something happens that I don't like, I jump right into it into. Something I have to learn over the 39 days that I can't do that, I have to wait to see what happens and react afterwards, instead of before. My strategy on the show is an immediate identification on who I am dealing with, their weaknesses, their strengths. Playing them against each other, instead of focusing on me, I want them to focus on each other. I will give them the fuel necessary to do that.
Leann: Hello, my name is Leann, I'm 34 years old and from Kansasville, Wisconsin. I do a number of things. I work at an investment firm, I sing in a band and I do some modeling part-time. Awesome. I'll probably get along better with men than women, by far. Only because women... a lot of women talk about stupid stuff. I mean I don't want to talk about dull little parties that people at have their houses with like candles and Tupperware. I'd rather talk about sports and I don't even watch sports. But to me that's more interesting than some of the ridiculous crap that women talk about. Guys like to kick back and have a beer, that's more me.
Lisa: Hi I'm Lisa, I'm 44 years old. I'm a real estate agent in Mandeville, Louisiana. I'm here to win so I am working the game, I'm working the strategy, and I am physically fit and I think, you know, a lot of people underestimate that age, well yea, they are getting up there, but you know, I'm more fit than I ever been. I do have a lot of strategy planned. I think the first thing is to work hard. You know, show that I am willing to do what it takes to have a good tribe.
Mia: Hi my name is Mia, I'm 29 years old, I'm from McKinney, Texas. I am an accountant during the day and a waitress at night. I'm extremely competitive and an extremely bad loser. I hate to lose, I'm a total sore loser. Yea, I'm very competitive. I try not to be and I go into things thinking maybe I won't be, and I just become psychotic. And yea, extremely competitive. I am a total spazz. But actually, it's kinda good for me to do accounting during the day because it kinda chills me out. I'm definitely very high energy, and it kinda brings me back down a little bit. I am probably going to always waitress or bartend or do something like that. The key to winning the game, I think is to just to play hard, and keep playing, constantly play, don't let your guard down. And just always remember that it's just a game. It's great to form friendships out here to win and We're all out here to win, and its a game, and I think that's the key, is to just keep that in your head the whole entire time. It's not personal, it's a game, we're out here playing a game.
Rory: Hi my name is Rory, I'm 35 years old from Des Moines, Iowa. I work for the city of Des Moines housing services. I will lie, cheat and steal to win this. I will do anything that I need to provide for my wife and my son. Am I one particular Survivor? No, I am Rory Freeman and quite frankly there's not going to be any Survivor that's been on that is quite like me. I think that all I need to be is I need to be faster than the slowest person, and be the stronger than the weakest person and I need to be smarter than all of them. And I think I can handle that. I can be sociable and smile and laugh and get along with people and three seconds later, I'll cut you if I need to.
Scout: Well hey, I'm Scout, I'm a rancher, a corporate trainer, songwriter- singer, motivational speaker, kind of a jack of all trades, entrepreneur. You don't know anything about life until you are right smack dab in the middle of it. So from the moment I downloaded that application, to sitting right here, has just has been an amazing journey. I'm a piece on a giant game board and this time instead of directing the action I'm in it. Well I think I am a character. I'm in pretty good shape to be nearly 60. And I got some disadvantages, you know I don't run as fast as some of these young kids. I got an artificial knee. Well you know what, I am going to start out with integrity and fairness and loyalty, and if all else fails, lie, cheat, and steal. Go for the best you know. Play with the best and shuck the rest.
Travis: My name is Travis. I am a loss prevention officer and also a deputy sheriff, reserve deputy sheriff, 33 years old. I have four beautiful children and a wonderful wife. I'm here because, you know, it's adventure. I love adventure. I was a professional wrestler for 7 years, I worked for the drug task force, I've been a police officer and now I'm a deputy sheriff. It's adventurous. I'm plain-spoken, if someone asked me for my opinion, I shoot it to 'em straight, I don't sugar coat it. My philosophy in life is: friends don't stab you in the back, they stab you in the chest. The skills in professional wrestling that would help you out here is: politics. Champions aren't made in the ring, they're made in the back. And you got to be political strong. I'm not going to lie, I am not going to be shady. If somebody asks me "do you want to join our alliance" and I don't want to join that alliance, I am going to wait to know the people better before I decide who to be with because once I give my word you know, I ain't got much in my life, my family and my word, that's all I got and I ain't about to give either one of them up.
Twila: Hi my name is Twila Marshall, Missouri and I am 41 years old. The bugs and the elements are not going to be as much as the people are going to be. I feel like I am going to have to watch my back at all times. I am here because I (inaudible) There are a lot different of reasons I guess, but the main reasons is if you win a million dollars, you can change your life. I can quit working three jobs, have a life. I would say I have no life. Work is my life. If I won a million dollars, that can all change. I think the hardest part of this game for me will be keeping my mouth shut. I'll have to learn how to lie and cheat and do whatever it takes to win this game. It's something that nobody wants to do, well there are some people in life that does it quite so often and does it freely. But no, lying and stuff is part of the game, you got to.
